recreation opportunities

The Arc of Union County offers recreation and leisure activities, for a small fee, throughout the year to promote physical and psychological well being. As a result, participants have the opportunity to build friendships and learn how to pursue personal interests.

Adults

For adults, the Recreation bulletin T.R.A.I.L.S is published on a quarterly basis offering a variety of programs and events for those aged 18 and older. Activities include game nights, athletic activities, trips to sporting events, concerts, museums, arts and crafts, movie night, dining out and more. The recreation department is also involved with the New Jersey Special Olympics bowling division.
